FORMER STUDENT ST. GEORGE’S ENTERS UNIVERSIDAD COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID

Andrés Méndez, called by his professors and friends as ‘El Chamo’, our former student of Class 2019, has been admitted to the Complutense University of Madrid – Spain to the Mathematics career.

“I was able to validate my marks obtained in the Diploma Program (DP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB) to be able to apply to the public universities of Madrid and obtain the classification of direct access to the university as a foreign student.”

In addition, to enter a science degree, Andrés had to take an Advanced Mathematics and Physics test. “Thanks to what I learned at school and the IB curriculum, it was not that difficult,” he says.

“I am very grateful to the School’s Mathematics Department. My teachers inspired me to choose this career and they constantly supported me in the matter, answering all my doubts and curiosities. I send you a strong hug!”

After finishing his degree, one of Andrés’ future plans is to continue in the branch of science and incline his studies towards his passion for Physics to be a great researcher.

We are very proud of this new achievement, Andrés; we take it for granted that it is the first of many.

CONGRATULATIONS, CHAMO!
